Scouts from the 1st Bishopston took part in a gorge walking trip in the Brecon Beacons thanks to money from the Cabot Adventure Fund. The fund uses a windfall received by the district to fund adventurous activities for members. You can find out more here. The scouts' gorge walkng adventure included swimming across streams, boldering around outcrops above the stream, clambering up waterfalls, jumping into plunge pools, a short cave, sliding head first down a short chimney, experiencing the "Jacuzzi" and "washing machine" and being part of a human chain.
