40 Scouts and Explorers from Cabot took part in the annual Ten Tors challenge yesterday, walking 35 or 45 miles across Dartmoor, carrying all their kit on their backs. The result was fantastic, with all 40 walkers completing the challenge, so well done to all of them, and to the adults who put in so much work to train and prepare them. Photos and full details will be available very soon on our separate Ten Tors website, www.cabottentors.org.uk. |

There will be two first aid courses run in the district in 2010, which are suitable for all adults who require a first aid qualification. They will take place on the 6th March and the 18th September. Please bear in mind that when your appointment is reviewed, it will only be renewed for as long as your first aid certificate is valid, so if yours is up for review in 2010, please think about booking yourself onto one of these courses. You can download a flyer here. |
